Scream Queens

“They sing – they dance – they die!” A hotel ballroom, 1998, and six voluptuous B-movie “Scream Queens” revive their fading acting careers by presenting a musical revue for their fans at a science fiction and horror film convention. From a young newbie to seasoned grand dame, the Queens strut their stuff in song and dance for 90 minutes of hilarious musical mayhem. The Queens take the audience into the world of no-budget movies with awful scripts, fake monsters and gooey special FX. They even involve the audience in a screaming contest and zombie talent search. As each Queen reveals her personal story, and screen original clips from their direct-to-video “scary movie” we share in their hopes and dreams.

"Scream Queens" opens March 29th and plays Thursday to Sunday through April 14th.  All Thursday shows begin at 7pm, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sunday matinees at 2pm.  *Note: There will be no performance on Easter Sunday, April 1st.  Instead there will be an added Saturday matinee beginning at 2pm on April 7th.

It’s worth pointing that it takes a great deal of talent to portray these not-so-gifted scream queens, and the Lucky Penny cast has that in abundance....
Heather Buck is Tonya the dewy dish who got her start at a pig-calling contest and was voted “Miss Cream Corn” before going into horror flicks.

Scream Queens’ is a frivolous romp with campy monster movies and a diverting cast that revels in atrocious special effects and bawdy innuendos...Heather Buck’s flighty Tonya idealizes the helpless, shrieking Fay Wray from ‘King Kong’
